The look back
When Orpheus and his Eurydice waked up from the underworld they thought of the light up there, how beautiful it was, how much they longed for, needed it; but even so, they'd been a long time to the dark, too long. They'd learned it needed them. (William Bronk)

Orpheus với tài làm thơ và đàn lyre , đã cưới nàng Eurydice .
Chằng may nàng bị rắn cắn chết .
Thương vợ quá , Opheus xuống Âm Phủ tìm nàng với tiếng đàn và lời thơ khóc vợ thê lương khiến Diêm Vương mủi lòng cho phép nàng Eurydice trở lại dương thế.
Tuy nhiên, Orpheus không dược quay lại nhìn vợ cho tới khi lên đến mặt đất. ..
Hỡi ôi ! Không biết vì quá thương vợ hay vì vô tâm , nửa đường chàng quay lại nhìn ... và Eurydice bị rớt trở lại vào cõi u minh bên dưới ...
